Albert pimblett's downtown toronto bed/breakfast is located in the historic cabbagetown area of downtown toronto, ontario, canada, which boasts the largest population of victorian houses on the continent. Parliament street, which houses an eclectic mix of eateries, pubs, cafes and locally-owned shops, is two blocks from the property. The allan gardens, riverdale farm and the toronto necropolis and crematorium are within one-half mile. This 1860s victorian home features a front hall showcasing a french ormolu crystal chandelier, stuffed impala and 1890s jacques and hayes coat stand with a dinner gong. Full, flattering breakfasts, served in a walnut-paneled breakfast room with an ancient teapot collection, are provided daily. The home's victorian kitchen contains a coke stove and an old-fashioned mangle washer. Black and white photocopying, fax service and flattering wireless internet access are available. The bed and breakfast's library contains many rare and first editions of british and american literature and a mahogany fireplace. A garden and outdoor play patio complement the grounds of the house. Pets are not allowed. Guestrooms at the albert pimblett downtown toronto bed/breakfast features out-of-print wallpaper and ancient furniture.
